Chemical Storage Buildings & Flammable Storage Buildings

Housing Hazardous Processes and Chemicals

Chemical Storage Buildings Video

Choose between depths of 8', 10', and 12' for these FM Approved Chemical Storage Buildings. Lengths are available up to 52'. Designed for hazardous material storage while housing hazardous processes and chemicals. All buildings come with a built-in spill compliant sump. Numerous engineered options also available, including heating, cooling, lights, fire suppression systems, leak detection, mechanical ventilation, etc.

Governmental codes and regulations dictate the correct selection and placement of hazardous chemical storage buildings, non-occupancy buildings, and occupancy buildings. The characteristics of the stored material i.e. flammability, pH, material storage temperature, the size and type of container(s), the total quantity stored, and the storage location about other structures will determine which code(s) and regulations pertain to your application.

Regulations and Codes of note that may affect your storage application are NFPA 30 “Storage of Flammable Liquids”, the IBC and IFC “International Building Code” and International Fire Code”, as well as the code of Federal regulations 40 CFR 264.175 concerning containment and 29 CFR 1910 (OSHA). Additionally independent third party testing agencies such as Factory Mutual have developed standards for the storage of flammable and other hazardous materials. DENIOS sells and produces Factory Mutual approved products
