In a very short time-frame, DENIOS constructed a storage facility consisting of six individual fire rated storage containers for University of Innsbruck in Austria. This enabled the research and development department of the university to safely and efficiently store various kinds of hazardous substances.
Challenge and task: Constructing a central storage unit for hazardous substances on the university campus. Different kinds of hazardous materials, such as flammable liquids, water pollutants, acids, and poisonous substances need to be stored together. The units need to be fully movable in case the university changes location.
DENIOS recommended a construction consisting of six containers linked to one another, with five of them being F90 fire rated containers and one being a container that serves as a passage to the university building.
Results and outcome:
All legal regulations and legislation regarding flammable liquids were obeyed, while still being able to move the unit to another place at a later time. Using F90 fire rated storage containers, DENIOS was able to finalize this project within just two months.
