How to Deploy an EV Fire Blanket

A quick guide to when to use the DENIOS EV Fire Blanket, how to deploy it safely, and key handling precautions during an EV fire incident.

• Use during EV fire incidents involving smoke, unusual odors or sounds, collision damage, flooding, or visible flames when it is safe and directed by emergency responders.
• Deploy with two people by removing the blanket, unfolding it fully, and using the grip loops on the short sides.
• Approach from upwind, avoid undercarriage areas, and cover the vehicle completely while maintaining distance as much as possible.
• After covering the vehicle, move to a safe distance and wait for first responders. The blanket helps contain fire spread but does not extinguish a lithium-ion battery fire.
