Flammable Cabinets primarily follow NFPA 30 for storage of flammable and combustible liquids. Spill containment requirements call for cabinet doors to have a raised sill capable of retaining a 2” depth of spill liquids.
This is adequate for cabinets storing multiple, smaller volume containers (1-5 gallons each), where a leak of a single container can be contained. With cabinet designs for 1 and 2- 55 gallon drums however, a leak could be catastrophic.
DENIOS US has addressed this with our Flammable Cabinet Sumps, which provide additional, compliant capacity for 1 and 2 drum Flammable Cabinets.
