Our chemical storage buildings under the non-occupancy category are designed for Storage only, which means no employee can enter the building. It works more like a chemical storage warehouse that contains and stores everything per governmental regulations. Non-occupancy is a solution for chemical storage buildings that works to supply in a safe way chemicals that are needed during operation hours. We offer FM-approved and non-FM-approved models.
DENIOS is a trailblazer in developing Non-Occupancy Storage Buildings for drums and Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBCs) as a safer and more effective alternative to Walk-In/Occupancy buildings for chemical storage. These buildings are designed to prevent any need for personnel to enter a potentially hazardous environment, as they feature full-face opening door styles that allow all materials to be moved via forklift. This provides complete physical separation of stored chemicals from the surrounding facility and other incompatible chemicals or ignitions, enhancing safety levels.
These chemical storage solutions accommodate 2 or 3 pallets of drums or 2 or 3 IBC totes. Depending on your storage requirements, the bays can be arranged in various configurations, including single-tier or double-tier heights. Models with single-sided or double-sided access are also available. For extra safety, the roll-up door is rated to withstand fire for up to three hours and conform to UL Standards. All our units are constructed to be placed in indoor and outdoor areas, and all of our solutions include passive ventilation and a galvanized removable containment grate.

What is the meaning of FM approval?
FM approvals are the independent testing arm of the international insurance carrier, FM Global. FM approvals use scientific research and testing to make sure products conform to the highest standards for safety and property loss prevention. Products that pass get the “FM APPROVED” mark, and this mark is very valuable for insurance purposes.
Our RFP Chemical storage buildings fall into the non-occupancy category of buildings.
